Sacred Heart of Mary School (SHM) welcomes student applications from Sacred Heart of Mary parishioners as well as children from other parishes and religious backgrounds, with students from the parish given priority. Kindergarten and Grade One Students Children entering Kindergarten must be five by September 30.  Children entering Grade one must be six by September 30 and provide evidence of successfully completing Kindergarten in an accredited school. New Student Registration Material The following material is needed in order for the application to be complete: Birth Certificate Baptismal Certificate Immunization Records Social Security Number Proof of Child Custody (if applicable) Payment of Registration Fee New Student Registration Registration of new students in grades 1-8 takes place after re-registration of current students has been completed and the number of open places has been determined.

New Student Admission Priority Registration at Sacred Heart of Mary School is accepted in the following order: Catholic students from SHM Parish who have siblings already at SHM School. Catholic children of families who are registered in, attend, and contribute to SHM Parish, in the order in which the school registration is received.  In cases with the same school registration date, parishioner priority will be based on the date of SHM Parish registration. Catholic students of Parishes that do not provide a Catholic elementary school who have siblings already in SHM School. Non-Catholic students who have siblings already in SHM School. Catholic students of parishes that do not provide a Catholic elementary school. Catholic students from other Catholic schools with permission from both pastors. Non-Catholic students regardless of race, color, creed, national origin or sex on a space available basis.
